Information Entered in Forms
A name, phone number, or address entered into a search form is sent to the third-party provider that powers the result. Baldwin Park Residents Directory does not keep a copy of that search on its own server. If you send a message, the mailbox receives the information you choose to include and uses it to answer.
Ordinary Technical Logs
Hosting providers may record an IP address, browser type, viewed pages, and timestamps. Those records are reviewed in aggregate for security, performance, and page-use measures. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics or, when present, advertising measurement.
How Limited Data Is Used
The purposes are operating the reference, fixing faults, understanding aggregate traffic, and improving pages. Visitor lists are not sold, and individual user profiles are not built from these limited records.
External Portals and Services
Links lead to county and state record portals, libraries, archives, and third-party search tools. The destination’s privacy policy controls what is submitted there. Sponsored results are supplied by a separate provider and follow that provider’s terms.
Who May Receive It
Hosting and support providers may process server logs. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic information described above. Disclosure occurs when valid legal process requires it, and otherwise is limited to the stated operating purposes.
Security Measures
The connection is encrypted, and logs are retained only as long as the purposes above call for them. Because there are no accounts, this reference does not hold a visitor password or user profile.
Visitors Under 18
The reference is intended for adults and is not directed to children. Personal information from someone under 18 is not knowingly collected; if a minor’s information was sent, contact us so it can be removed.
California Privacy Choices
Where applicable, the California Consumer Privacy Act, Civil Code sections 1798.100 and following, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, provides rights to know, delete, correct, limit certain sensitive-data uses, and opt out of sale or sharing. Because this reference keeps little direct visitor data, a request usually involves checking the contact mailbox and technical logs. Use the Contact page to ask.
Public records held by California, Los Angeles County, or Baldwin Park offices are governed by the custodian’s rules and the California Public Records Act, Government Code sections 7920.000 and following. A CCPA request to this reference does not erase a government record; contact the office that created or holds that record.
